IceDogs Get "Stormed"

The IceDogs dropped a 6-3 Monday night decision to the visiting Guelph Storm. Niagara got goals from Ethan Czata, Ryerson Edgar and Riley Patterson.

The home side gave up a late goal, in the last minute of the first, despite outshooting Guelph 9-5. After Czata tied the score with his 19th. Another Storm tally was offset by Edgar's 18th of the year. Once again, a late goal gave the visitors the edge heading into the break. Guelph counted 11 of the 18 shots on goal.

Down 4-2, Patterson's 29th brought the IceDogs within one but a late even strength and a final goal into the empty net completed the night's scoring. Guelph held a 29-27 shots advantage.

Thursday night, the IceDogs are home to Owen Sound, New Country 89.1 will be there with the call beginning at 6:45.
