An investigation into illegal drug trafficking in Niagara Falls has led to an arrest.
On Feb 11, a suspect was arrested after a drug deal was observed by detectives. They seized the following:
- 2.2g of fentanyl (street value $400)
- 19 hydromorphone tablets (street value $380)
- $600 CND
Police then obtained a search warrant for his home on Drummond Road and found:
- A Glock Magazine,
- Seven 9mm rounds of ammunition
- 36 hydromorphone tablets (street value $720)
- 7.3g of fentanyl (street value $1460)
28-year-old Donte Lloyd of Niagara Falls has been charged with:
- Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime under $5000,
- Possession of a Prohibited Device
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Hydromorphone)
- Driving While Under Suspension
