Two Niagara Falls residents facing gun and drug charges

$25,600 worth of suspected cocaine seized

Niagara Regional Police have charged two individuals following a drug trafficking investigation in Niagara Falls.

The investigation began earlier this year and led to the arrest of a male suspect on April 29.

The next day, police executed a search warrant at a residence on Biggar Road, seizing 456.5 grams of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of $25,600, $7,050 in Canadian currency, and a .22-calibre rifle.

On May 14, police arrested a second suspect, a female, in connection with the case.

As a result, 38-year-old Matthew Martindale and 61-year-old Annette Martindale, both residents of Niagara Falls, have been charged with multiple drug and firearm-related offences.
