
Niagara Regional Police have laid charges in connection with an attempted murder in St. Catharines after a woman was set on fire.
Yesterday just before 1:30pm, officers responded to the area of Queen Street and Welland Avenue for a wanted person call.
Following the investigation, police arrested 37-year-old Rebecca Daigneault of St. Catharines. She has been charged with attempted murder, break and enter to commit an indictable offence, and failing to comply with a probation order.
Last week, two others were arrested in connection with the incident - 25-year-old Chassidy Archer and 30-year-old Moises Medeiros, both from St. Catharines.
