Niagara Police have identified 50-year-old Davy Rocchetti as the suspect in the death of 82-year-old Larry Pearce.
Last week, Pearce was struck by his own vehicle at Charles Daley Park and later died in hospital.
A Canada-wide warrant for second-degree murder is being pursued.
Rocchetti is also wanted for several unrelated charges and was last seen on July 22 in Mississauga, driving the victim’s grey 2012 Honda CRV.
The SUV is missing its front plate and has duct tape on the front bumper and rear window.
Police urge the public not to approach Rocchetti and to call 911 with any sightings or information.
