Niagara Regional Police have laid 81 criminal charges following an eight-month investigation into historic sexual assault allegations dating back to 1991.
The alleged offences involved 16 victims, 14 male and 2 female between the ages of 8 and 17 at the time.
On August 7, police arrested 53-year-old Todd Douglas Williston of Niagara Falls. He faces multiple charges related to sexual assault and child pornography.
Williston, a former school bus driver, is known to have used aliases such as Doug Williston, Todd Helmes, Uncle Doug, Plebber, and Chubby Todd, as well as online usernames with similar variations.
Police believe there may be additional victims and are urging anyone with information to contact the Niagara Regional Police Sexual Assault Unit.
