Communities across Niagara will pause to remember Canada’s veterans during upcoming Remembrance Day ceremonies.
In Welland, two observances are planned: one at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 4 at 10:45 a.m., and at Chippawa Park from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
In Port Colborne, ceremonies take place at H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park Cenotaph at 10:30 a.m., and at Centennial-Cedar Bay Park at 10:45 a.m..
In Niagara Falls, residents can attend the outdoor service at the Fairview Cemetery Cenotaph at 10:45 a.m, or watch the livestream online. Cadets will also hold an overnight vigil at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
and in West Lincoln, residents are encouraged to join in remembrance at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 393 ceremony and wreath laying, beginning at 10:45 a.m. at the Smithville Cenotaph.
