The Welland Jackfish kick off their playoffs Thursday evening at The Pond, with game 1 against the Kitchener Panthers.
For the Jackfish, it was an outstanding regular season - finishing with 31 wins and just 11 losses.
President Ryan Harrison says the team has bonded very well this season, which he thinks is the recipe for a deep playoff run.
While the team has been great on the field - finishing with a championship in 2023 and regular season pennants in 204 and 2025, the crowds have been getting bigger every season.
Harrison says about half of the home games this year were sold out - which is always great to see.
The Jackfish and Panthers will square off for Game 1 at 7:15.
