Frank Evola named sixth GM of the team
The Niagara IceDogs have appointed Frank Evola as the franchise’s sixth General Manager.
Evola brings a strong track record from his nine years with the Windsor Spitfires, where he held the role of Director of Scouting and Hockey Operations.
He says he's excited for his new role.
Before Windsor, he spent nearly a decade with the Oshawa Generals, including two years as Director of Scouting and seven as a Western Ontario Scout.
He says developing relationships with players is one of his top priorities.
Notably, Evola played a key role in assembling the 2015 Oshawa Generals roster that captured the OHL’s Robertson Cup, the Bobby Orr Trophy, and the Memorial Cup Championship.
