This December, the City of St. Catharines is making holiday visits a little easier with up to three hours of free weekday parking through the HONK Mobile app.
From December 1 to 24, drivers can park free for up to three hours at on-street spaces, hourly surface lots, the Ontario Street Parking Garage, and HONK zones in Port Dalhousie.
HONK lets users find spaces, pay from their phone, and extend time without coins or tickets.
Standard three-hour limits still apply, and regular paid parking is available for longer stays at City garages.
Parking remains free citywide from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m., except during special events.
