Niagara Regional Police are investigating a break and enter at a St. Catharines business that resulted in the theft of six firearms.
On Sunday, August 24, officers responded to a Geneva Street location near Ted Street, where they discovered a gun cabinet had been broken into and emptied. Three handguns and three long guns were taken and remain missing.
Detectives have identified suspects. Thirty-five-year-old Pavel Braoun of St. Catharines is wanted on multiple charges. Fifty-four-year-old David Venketeswaran, also of St. Catharines, has been arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Police continue their search for the stolen firearms and ask anyone with information to contact investigators.
