Suspect in connection to Fort Erie collision turns self into police

Police say driver fled on foot

A Niagara Falls man wanted in connection to a collision in Fort Erie has turned himself in.

Early yesterday morning, police were called to Netherby Road and Winger Road after an altercation led to a man on an ATV being struck by a Volkswagon Jetta, before the Jetta driver fled on foot.

21-year-old Baylee Lemoine turned himself into police late yesterday, and has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of a crash causing bodily harm.

He'll be held for a bail hearing today.
