Detectives with the Collision Reconstruction Unit are continuing to investigate a hit-and-run in St. Catharines.
Just before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, police were called to Dunkirk Road at Service Road after a white Mercedes SUV struck a cyclist and fled westbound on Dunkirk.
The vehicle sustained damage and is missing parts of its passenger-side mirror, which features a built-in turn signal.
The SUV was last seen heading north on Bunting Road around 8:25 p.m. on November 29. Police have released surveillance stills and are asking the public to help identify the vehicle and its owner.
Residents and businesses in the area are urged to review their video footage and contact police with any information.
