Niagara Regional Police have located and seized a white 2010 Mercedes GLK350 believed to be involved in a recent hit-and-run and St. Catharines.
Detectives are now working to identify the driver and are asking the public for assistance.
Anyone who was in the area of Dunkirk Road and Bunting Road on Saturday between 8:15 and 8:45 p.m. is asked to review dashcam or security footage for sightings of the vehicle.
Investigators also want to hear from anyone who may have seen a similar Mercedes being driven erratically or at high speed near Niagara Stone Road and York Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake or near Dunkirk Road and Bunting Road in St. Catharines.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
