It will join the college's NOTL campus tower
Niagara College has installed a new Motus wildlife tracking tower on the roof of its Simcoe building at the Welland Campus.
The tower monitors radio-tagged, at-risk birds and migratory species flying through the region.
It joins the College’s first tower at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus, helping cover both North and South Niagara.
The data contributes to the international Motus Wildlife Tracking System, supporting global research and student learning.
