Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre receive funding through Niagara Community Foundation

Project will deliver in-class education on safety and healthy relationships

Nearly 300 children visit the Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre each year after experiencing abuse, online luring, or violence.

While the Centre provides support services, its focus is also on prevention.

Through partnerships with Niagara Catholic and District School Board of Niagara, the Kids First Project delivers in-class education on safety and healthy relationships.

Thanks to new funding from the Niagara Community Foundation – David S. Howes Fund, the program will expand to reach more students across the region in the upcoming school year.

Free for all Niagara schools, the program covers age-appropriate topics like safe touch, online privacy, social media red flags, and consent — from JK through Grade 12.
