Niagara Regional Police have confirmed the identity of human remains found in Niagara-on-the-Lake in August.
The victim is a 24-year-old Black male from Toronto who was reported missing and last seen in May 2022.
Out of respect for the family, police are not releasing his name.
The homicide investigation remains active, with NRPS detectives working alongside Toronto Police.
