Fort Erie recognizing businesses aiming at being more accessible

StopGap ramps used to help make visiting businesses and organizations more accessible

To mark National AccessAbility Week 2025, Fort Erie’s Accessibility Advisory Committee is recognizing local organizations that have joined the StopGap Ramp Project over the last two years.

Under the theme “Forward Together: Accessibility and Inclusion for All,” the Town celebrated these efforts as part of its 2024-2029 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan. 

The city says the initiative reflects a growing community commitment to breaking down barriers and improving access for everyone.

The 19 businesses that have participated in the Project are:
