Last year's event raised over $164,000
Final preparations are being made ahead of Canada's largest used book sale next week in Niagara Falls.
The Birchway Book Riot is back at the Gale Centre in Niagara Falls from June 3 to 8.
All proceeds from the event support Birchway Niagara, funding its domestic violence shelter, support services, and prevention programs across south Niagara. Last year’s sale raised over $164,000.
Funds raised help maintain 15 additional shelter beds, increasing capacity beyond the government-funded 30 beds.
This year’s event also marks the launch of the 15 Beds Campaign, highlighting the critical need for community support to keep these life-saving spaces open.
Details are available at Birchway's website.
