With the annual Canal Days Marine Festival now just over a week away, excitement is building in Port Colborne - and around the Niagara Region.
Port Colborne Mayor William Steele says it's a great opportunity to showcase the city to everyone.
This year's festival features a free, all-Canadian musical lineup at H.H. Knoll Park including Big Sugar, The Trews, Finger Eleven and Sloan.
Steele says there will be volunteers walking around collecting donations as well, as it helps fund things like the free concerts.
2025 marks the 47th year of the festival, with festivities starting on August 1st.
