What's Good in Niagara? Christine Clark Lafleur happy with legacy left at Port Cares

After announcing her retirement last week, outgoing Port Cares CEO Christine Clark Lafleur is reflecting on a great career - and an unforgettable 11 years with the organization.

Clark Lafleur says when it came to the decision to retire, the time just felt right.

Port Cares saw a number of changes during Clark Lafleur's tenure there, going from an organization barely getting by financially to spearheading an affordable housing build with over 40 units.

She says if there's one thing that drew her to Port Cares when she started, it was the wide range of services that it offers.

The Executive Committee of Port Cares' Board of Directors have started an executive search for Clark Lafleur's replacement.
