Gillian’s Place in St. Catharines is receiving a $300,000 boost from the RONA Foundation’s Build from the Heart program.
Launched in 2022, the initiative supports projects that improve living conditions for vulnerable groups, including domestic violence survivors, low-income families, and individuals with disabilities.
Funds were raised from April 21 to May 31 through RONA+ and RONA stores and online.
The grant will help upgrade Gillian’s Place’s shelter and thrift store, enhancing security and accessibility for those they serve.
