Crash resulted in closure of QEW for over 24 hours
Ontario Provincial Police have charged a Burlington man in connection to a crash on the QEW.
In January 2024, OPP say a black Mercedes was driving aggressively and allegedly brake checking other vehicles on the highway, resulting in an SUV to collide with a tanker in Lincoln.
The collision resulted in over 53,000 litres of diesel fuel being spilled on the highway, resulting in a multi-day closure of the Fort Erie bound lanes.
59-year-old Mirkarim Mousavi has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm and failing to stop at an accident.
