Scholarship offers $2500 to local students pursuing post-secondary education
Time is running out for local high school seniors to apply for the 2025 Community First Scholarship, with the deadline set for tomorrow (Tuesday), at 7 p.m.
Offered through My Broadcasting Corporation-our parent company - the $2,500 scholarship is open to graduating students who plan to pursue post-secondary studies in college, university, or the trades.
Giant FM and New Country 89.1 General Sales Manager Mike Haberer says giving back is rewarding.
To apply, students must submit a 1-2 minute recording, either on their phone or on video, sharing what community means to them. You can apply here.
