Council reassessed decision after feedback from the community
The playground and swings at Centennial Sports Park in Virgil will remain open after reconsidering initial plans for removal.
Feedback from the community highlighted the space’s importance, leading Town Staff to reassess their decision.
Although the playground’s equipment has reached the end of its lifecycle, it is still deemed safe and will remain open with more frequent inspections.
