Club was the scene of a shooting in April
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission has halted liquor sales at a St. Catharines Club.
The AGCO says effective last Friday, a notice to revoke the liquor license of Club 88 on St. Paul Street has been issued.
This stems from a shooting inside the establishment in April, which saw a 16-year-old injured. The AGCO says numerous attempts to identify those involved in the club's ownership and operations has resulted in inconsistent and contradictory information.
The club can appeal the decision within 15 days.
