Grant will help library implement Open+ to increase accessible hours
The Niagara Falls Public Library's incoming temporary location in Chippawa will have expanded hours.
A $60,000 grant from the Niagara Community Foundation will help the library implement Open+, a platform that will help the library stay open later for members.
Chair of the Library Board Anne Andres-Jones says its always a relief to get help when possible.
She adds that the new software will help expand access during unstaffed hours.
Renovations to the temporary Chillaway Library location are still in progress, with the goal of opening to the public in early summer.
