New attraction offers countless possibilities for virtual animal displays
The newest zoo in Niagara Falls has opened…and it has no animals.
Hologram Zoo Niagara opened its door last month, and offers visitors a chance to see animals from across the world in an immersive virtual experience.
Co-Owner Marty Speelman says the possibilities are endless.
Speelman adds that these displays can change throughout the year for seasonal shows, and also include displays that are a little more on the unrealistic side - if desired.
A big part of the hologram zoo model is also being ethical, as some zoos in the past have been frowned upon for animal treatment concerns. Speelman says that’s definitely not an issue with holograms.
