New series shot entirely in Fort Erie, highlighting rural life in a comedic style

South Niagara will be the centre of attention on screens across the country next month.

In June, a new comedy series called 'Cows Come Home' premieres on Fibe TV1 - and it's shot entirely in Fort Erie.

Lindsey Middleton plays the main character of the show and is a co-creator, and says growing up in Fort Erie, she knew lots of great spots to shoot.

Lindsey co-wrote and co-produced the series with Katie Uhlmann, before it was selected for the TIFF television accelerator at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival and shortly thereafter received a series order. Uhlmann directed all six episodes after returning from the Law and Order Studios in NYC

Middleton says growing up on a farm, doing a show about that lifestyle has always been in the back of her mind.

Cows Come Home premieres on June 11th, and is available commercial-free to Bell Fibe TV subscribers on demand via Channel 1 and the Fibe TV app.
